    • Zimbabwe has 16 official languages: Chewa, Chibarwe, English, Kalanga, Koisan, Nambya, Ndau, Ndebele, Shangani, Shona, Sotho, Tonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa, and the Zimbabwean Sign Language. Shona and Ndebele are the dominant languages spoken. English is recognised as the language of business and tourism and most people speak at least two languages in this multilingual country.
    • The local currency is the Zimbabwe RTGS dollar. US dollars, South African rand, Pound sterling, Euros and Botswana pula are widely accepted.
